About XboxDaze
Where did XboxDaze materialise from?
XboxDaze (formally known as The Thursday Club) wasn't created just for this website. It started many years ago when we would go out on pay-day for a boozy night and always ended up with a bash on the playstation. As this always occurred on a Thursday our girlfriends nicknamed it The Thursday Club. The playstation was ditched when the Xbox was launched but The Thursday Club remains. The website name was changed in 2005 with a whole new site relaunch.
Why did we create XboxDaze?
We created it because, as you have already learnt, we are like-minded friends who get together on a regular basis and we're nuts about gaming. Not JUST Xbox, but all formats. Of course, the great thing about the Xbox is that Microsoft have done such a great job in bringing all the best bits about gaming in to one small box. (OK, so its not actually that small, but it is pretty good). It seamed to us that it did not matter how hard we looked on the web we could not find a site which gave us solely UK information. News was always US orientated (even if it was a UK website!!) and games reviews seemed to drag on way more than necessary. Lets face it...we just wanted to know if a game was good enough to buy and why. We thought "we could do better than that"....so we did!
So who are XboxDaze?
Content Editor / Co-creator - Gamertag Aliboy....
... is our most "generic" gamer. He's got all the consoles and adores his PC (He's still adamant the Xbox will never be as good as a PC!). He is also a bit of a retro fan, pining for the days of pac-man and Space Harrier.
Website Designer / Co-creator - Gamertag Egoman....
The mastermind of the XboxDaze & The Thursday Club websites. He has created endless variations and formats before settling on what you see here (though don't be surprised if it changes again soon!!).
Staff writer - Gamertag Beggarman....

Beggars as we like to call him is the one you will always find on Xbox Live at 1am in the morning - due to the fact that apart from us two he only has his virtual friends to play with. (And its the only chance he gets the TV to himself
