@greenpotatoe3 No, you can have all the styles, Matrix / TP3 – CG1 – CG2 if you have any of the CG’s the solder top for the power is the same but for the RT white is on top and black is on bottom.

@supersanchez1991 You need a transistor connected between the led and the circuit board that will make your led turn off when your controller is turned off. You need to make sure you get the right or it will not work. So be careful about what your doing. You should just have somebody do it for you. I would recommend you go to radio shack and question an worker for help. Hope this helps.

@gigalo84 cheers. i did get it working for a while before it packed up and i tore the chip board out and replaced with my other controller insides looks even better now than it did with lights.

@SgtGarand ok buddy i have a question. i am trying to mod my xbox 360 wireless controller guide button, so the guide botton X lights up. i open the controller, and i found a negative and a positive connection in the controller, they are the 4 solder points, just below the resistor thing at the controller, to the left of the right joystick. i place the LED on it and it does light up, it keeps lighting up even when the controller is off. do you know why? or where did you solder your LEDS? pleasehelp

@mauserhunter There are two versions of the pcb each version is wired differently, go on google and type in xcm wireless controller with leds should give you a link with full pictures etc
